My name is Jad Rammal. I am currently a third year student at the American University of Beirut, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

I chose this major because it is a very creative field,where the main emphasis is to improve the world we live in by helping solve some of the biggest global challenges facing humanity, and also because of the amazing innovations and fascinating things a Mechanical Engineer can do.

I haven’t decided yet which track in Mechanical Engineering I will choose, and I am willing to do further research about each track, in order to choose wisely a track in which I will find myself comfortable and more importantly, a track that I enjoy. Hence, I haven’t decided yet about my plans after college.

My hobbies are mainly playing football, going to the gym, skiing and playing video games, but I also enjoy watching series and football games. Also, I am an F.C. Barcelona fan, and I support this club since my childhood.

Pain doesn’t tell you when you ought to stop. Pain is the little voice in your head that tries to hold you back because it knows if you continue you will change.
